Xtra Math Super Achievements

Today, two students achieved special recognition for achievement on the XtraMath website!

Grace and Sophia both completed addition facts in a sequence in under 3 seconds per fact! This may seem like a simple task but it actually takes quite a bit of focus and practice. These girls are off to a great start in memorizing all important math facts and building up math fact fluency.

I wonder who will be the next Super Achiever. Remember, you’ve got to practice at home and school to get to the next level faster!

Plimoth Plantation Adventure

We had a very brave group of parents, staff, and of course students who did not complain about the cold, wind, or rain. Instead they jumped in to the adventure at Plimoth Plantation and boy did we reap the benefits!

Not having the best weather, worked to our advantage since Plimoth Plantation was virtually empty. Students were able to ask questions and get to know both the Colonial actors and the Native interpreters. We were able to take cover from most of the rain and stay warm near the fires. Overall this was my best trip to Plimoth Plantation yet! Take a look at some of our pictures from last week.

Discover the Vote 2012

Even though you need to be 18 to vote in our country, kids can still have a voice. Team 203 discovered this in our mock election on Monday. Check out this website that Isabella’s mom works for.  Click on the image below to cast your vote, compare data and results!

What time do you think we will find out who our new commander in chief is?

Here’s a look at Team 203’s Classroom Election:
